Guiding my clients in developing self-compassion and acceptance in the midst of their struggles and providing them with treatments that incorporate cultural humility, and Evidence- Based treatments have been essential components in their healing and recovery.
I had planned to keep my struggles as a secret. By doing this, I was holding on too much pain. It was unbearable. In the words of Anais Nin, “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” The outcome from sharing my sufferings in therapy was the opposite of what I expected. I received support instead of rejection, compassion instead of hatred, and—above all— opening up gave me the opportunity to find my true self. I learned to develop self-compassion. You can learn to develop self-compassion. Healing is possible for you.
I would like to hold space for you and guide you in the process of opening UP In an environment of freedom, compassion, and acceptance. I want you to live the life you want to and learn to accept who you are with your virtues and imperfections. Acceptance gives you freedom to explore endless possibilities to enjoy life and discover that you matter, you are lovable, you are a human. We all are.
I support and welcome the uniqueness of each of my clients. By understanding your personal needs, learning about your experiences in life, your cultural background, values, beliefs, and worldview, I can offer you a treatment that works for you, tailor to your needs that will help you achieve your goals.
